I suggest the first book we should read is More Die of Heartbreak by Saul Bellow... I believe this was Kacie's absolute favorite. Realistically, lets plan on everyone whos interested to try and get the book by August 5th. Then we could read. Anyone have any suggestions for how to structure this? How many chapters we should read by x amount of time? Please chime in. Thanks. I am excited to do this!

I just wanted to say that I'm very excited about reading this one. The title doesn't ring a bell, but I remember kacie always talking about Saul Bellow.
I guess it depends on the actual structure of the book as far as how we structure the club. I don't know if you have it already, but I'm going to try and get it tomorrow.
I also remember Kacie talking a lot about Saul Bellow. I have heard her mention more die of heartbreak as well. I just ordered the book and it should get here in 7-10 days. Hopefully.....

I went through Kacie's book collection this morning and found Mosby's Memoirs and Dangling Man by Saul Bellow.
Im glad we are gonna do this together. i was actually just thinking a couple of weeks ago that I should read this book next because it was her favorite.
I've read half of the first chapter and it sure is deep. It bored me a little at first but it's picking up speed.
